Bethel Prayer Mountain

Bethel Prayer Mountain

Bethel Prayer Mountain, located in the southern part of the island, is another venue where we host the presence of the Lord daily!  For more than fifty years, believers from different Christian denominations continue travelling back and forth to this place, which they consider a sacred spot, to meet with God without distraction. In fact, over the years, we have witnessed the power of God through all kinds of miracles.

Intercession is the highest form of prayer. The intercessor voluntarily takes on the responsibility of praying the heart of the Father on behalf of individuals, churches, areas, or nations. The only motivation is that God’s will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

Prayers of Petition are requests made to God for specific needs. The model prayer teaches us to pray for our daily needs. Scripture further tells us God will meet our needs according to His riches in glory (Phil 4:19). The prerequisite to receiving is asking. James 4:2-3 ” You do not have because you do not ask. You ask and do not receive, because you ask amiss, that you may spend it on your pleasures.”

Prayers of Thanksgiving are expressions of our love and adoration to the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Thanksgiving ushers in the manifest presence of God. We are to give thanks in everything. I Thessalonians 5:18, “In everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.”

Groaning and tongues are prayers offered up when we don’t know how to pray, or even what to pray. Paul taught us to pray in our known language and in tongues. The church encourages you to pray in tongues daily.

Prayers of Confession are cries of repentance and sorrow over our sin. It is a time to receive forgiveness, grace and mercy, and be reassured of God’s unconditional love. It is a time of cleansing.
